Pemerintah menyatakan bahwa penularan virus corona masih terjadi di masyarakat hingga hari ini, Rabu (1/7/2020), yang membuat kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah.
Informasi ini disampaikan Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19, Achmad Yurianto, dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB, Jakarta pada Rabu sore.
Berdasarkan data yang masuk hingga hari ini pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.385 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan kasus itu menyebabkan kini ada 57.770kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
Data yang sama juga memperlihatkan ada penambahan 789 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh dalam sehari.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah pemeriksaan dengan polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, totalnya ada 25.595 pasien Covid-19 yang sudah dinyatakan sembuh dan tidak terinfeksi virus corona.
Akan tetapi, masih ada kabar duka yang disampaikan Yurianto dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Ada 58 pasien yang tutup usia dalam periode 30 Juni - 1 Juli 2020, setelah terpapar Covid-19.
Sehingga, total pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia ada 2.934 orang.

They were declared cured after examination with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, in total there were 25,595 Covid-19 patients who had been declared cured and were not infected with the corona virus.
However, there is still sad news delivered by Yurianto with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
There were 58 patients who died in the period 30 June - 1 July 2020, after exposure to Covid-19.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died was 2,934.
