Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Virus Corona, Achmad Yurianto, kembali memperbarui data terkait Covid-19 di Indonesia.
Menurut Yurianto, masih terjadi penularan virus corona yang menyebabkan kasus Covid-19 terus bertambah hingga hari ini, Kamis (2/7/2020).
Informasi ini disampaikan Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Kamis sore.
Berdasarkan data yang masuk hingga pukul 12.00 WIB hari ini, terdapat 1.624 kasus baru Covid-19dalam 24 jam terakhir
Penambahan itu menyebabkan kini ada 59.394 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
"Kami mendapatkan kasus konfirmasi positif sebanyak 1.624 orang, sehingga total kasus positif sebanyak 59.394 orang," ujar Achmad Yurianto.
Dalam periode yang sama, diketahui ada penambahan 1.072 pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, total ada 26.667 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh dan tak lagi terinfeksi virus corona.
Akan tetapi, masih ada kabar duka yang disampaikan Yurianto dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Ada penambahan 53 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia dalam periode 1 - 2 Juli 2020.
"Sehingga totalnya menjadi 2.987," ujar Yurianto

According to Yurianto, transmission of the corona virus is still causing the Covid-19 case to continue to grow to this day, Thursday (07/02/2020).
This information was conveyed by Achmad Yurianto in a press conference from Graha BNPB on Thursday afternoon.
Based on data entered until 12.00 WIB today, there were 1,624 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours
The addition has led to 59,394 Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, starting from the first case announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2, 2020.
"We have positive confirmation cases totaling 1,624 people, bringing the total number of positive cases to 59,394," Achmad Yurianto said.
In the same period, an additional 1,072 Covid-19 patients were considered to be cured.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, a total of 26,667 Covid-19 patients recovered and were no longer infected with the corona virus.
However, there is still sad news delivered by Yurianto with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
There were 53 additional Covid-19 patients who died in the period 1 - 2 July 2020.
