Pemerintah menyatakan bahwa penularan virus corona masih terjadi di Indonesia hingga hari ini, Senin (6/7/2020). Penularan itu menyebabkan kasus Covid-19 terus bertambah.
Pernyataan ini disampaikan Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Senin sore.
Berdasarkan data pemerintah hingga Senin pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.209 kasus baru dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan pasien itu menyebabkan kini ada 64.958 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia secara akumulatif, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
Kami dapatkan konfirmasi Covid-19 yang positif sebanyak 1.209 orang, sehingga akumulasinya sebanyak 64.958 orang," ujar Yurianto.
Data dalam periode yang sama juga memperlihatkan ada penambahan 814 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, total ada 29.919 pasien yang sembuh dan dianggap tidak lagi terpapar Covid-19.
Meski demikian, Yurianto masih menyampaikan kabar duka dengan adanya pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Dalam periode 5-6 Juli 2020, diketahui ada 70 pasien yang tutup usia setelah dipastikan terinfeksi virus corona.
"Sehingga totalnya ada 3.241," ujar Yurianto.

This statement was conveyed by Government Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto in a press conference from Graha BNPB on Monday afternoon.
Based on government data up to Monday at 12.00 WIB, there were 1,209 new cases in the past 24 hours.
The addition of these patients has led to an accumulation of 64,958 cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia, counting from the first case announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2, 2020.
"We got positive Covid-19 confirmations of 1,209 people, so the accumulation was 64,958 people," Yurianto said.
Data in the same period also showed that there were 814 additional Covid-19 patients recovering.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, a total of 29,919 patients were cured and were considered no longer exposed to Covid-19.
Even so, Yurianto still conveyed the sad news with the presence of Covid-19 patients who died.
In the 5-6 July 2020 period, there were 70 known patients who died after confirmed corona virus infection.
"So the total is 3,241," Yurianto said.
