Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Virus Corona Achmad Yuriantomenyampaikan informasi terbaru mengenai data dankasus Covid-19 di Indonesia.
Yurianto menyatakan bahwa penularan virus coronamasih terjadi, sehingga kasus Covid-19 di Tanah Air terus bertambah.
Informasi ini disampaikan Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB yang disiarkan langsung pada Selasa (7/7/2020).
Berdasarkan data pemerintah hingga Selasa pukul 12.00 WIB, terdapat 1.268 kasus baru dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan total ada 66.226 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan pada 2 Maret 2020.
"Kami dapatkan penambahan kaus terkonfirmasi Covid-19 sebanyak 1.268 orang, sehingga totalnya menjadi 66.226," ujar Yurianto.
Dalam periode yang sama, diketahui ada penambahan 866 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan polymerase chain reaction (PCR) hasilnya negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, kini ada 30.785 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh dan dianggap tak lagi terinfeksi virus corona.
Akan tetapi, Yurianto juga menyampaikan kabar duka dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Dalam periode 6 - 7 Juli 2020, ada penambahan 68 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia.
Sehingga, total pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal totalnya ada 3.309 orang.

The addition caused a total of 66,226 Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, starting from the first case announced on March 2, 2020.
"We got 1,264 people confirmed Covid-19 T-shirts, bringing the total to 66,226," Yurianto said.
In the same period, there were an additional 866 recovered Covid-19 patients.
They were declared cured after two tests with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which resulted in corona virus negative.
Thus, there are now 30,785 Covid-19 patients recovering and are considered no longer infected with the corona virus.
However, Yurianto also conveyed the sad news with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
In the period 6 - 7 July 2020, there were 68 additional Covid-19 patients who died.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died totaled 3,309.
