Menyusul diperbolehkannya kembali masyarakat untuk berpergian ke luar daerah, peraturan ketat akan diberlakukan berdasarkan Surat Edaran (SE) Gugus Tugas Penanganan Corona Nomor 7 Tahun 2020.
Dalam SE tersebut, masyarakat yang ingin bepergian ke luar daerah menggunakan transportasi umum selain wajib menunjukkan identitas diri (KTP atau tanda pengenal lainnya yang sah), juga harus memiliki surat tes Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) dengan hasil negatif yang berlaku 7 hari atau surat uji rapid test dengan hasil non-reaktif yang berlaku 3 hari.
Masyarakat yang ingin berpergian ke luar kota juga diwajibkan memiliki surat keterangan bebas gejala penyakit mirip influensa (influenza-like illness), yang bisa didapat dari dokter rumah sakit atau Puskesmas, bagi daerah yang tidak memiliki fasilitas tes PCR atau rapid test.
Peraturan tersebut berlaku bagi mereka yang ingin bepergian ke luar daerah lintas provinsi. Namun, tidak diwajibkan untuk mereka yang melakukan perjalanan lokal di dalam wilayah tertentu, antar Jabodetabek misalnya. Bagi yang ingin bepergian keluar-masuk DKI Jakarta, tetap wajib memiliki Surat Izin Keluar Masuk (SIKM).

Following the re-permissibility of the community to travel outside the region, strict regulations will be enforced based on Circular Letter (SE) Corona Handling Task Force Number 7 Year 2020.
In this SE, people who want to travel outside the area using public transportation in addition to having to show their identity (KTP or other valid identification), must also have a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test with a negative result that is valid for 7 days or a test letter rapid test with non-reactive results that are valid for 3 days.
People who want to travel outside the city are also required to have a certificate of symptoms free of influenza-like illness, which can be obtained from hospital doctors or Puskesmas, for regions that do not have PCR or rapid test facilities.
The regulation applies to those who want to travel outside the province. However, it is not required for those who travel locally in certain areas, between Jabodetabek for example. For those who want to travel in and out of DKI Jakarta, they are still required to have an Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM).
