Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto mengungkapkan, pemerintah hingga kini telah melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap 429.161 spesimenuntuk meredam penyebaran Covid-19.
Jumlah itu mengalami penambahan sebanyak 16.181 spesimen yang telah diperiksa dalam 24 jam terakhir.
"Kita telah melakukan pemeriksaan spesimen sebanyak 16.181 sehingga total spesimen yang sudah kita periksa sebanyak 429.161 spesimen," ujar Yuri dalam konferensi pers di Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Selasa (9/6/2020).
Dalam pemeriksaan tersebut, pemerintah menerapkan dua metode pemeriksaan spesimen.
Pertama, pemeriksaan menggunakan metode real time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Kedua, yakni menggunakan Tes Cepat Molekuler (TCM).
Sementara itu, dalam 24 jam terakhir, juga terjadi penambahan kasus meninggal dunia akibat Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir sebanyak 40 orang.
Dengan begitu, total kasus meninggal dunia sebanyak hingga kini mencapai 1.923 orang.
Kemudian juga terdapat penambahan pasien sembuh Covid-19 sebanyak 510 orang.
Total, pasien sembuh di Tanah Air hingga kini sebanyak 11.414 orang.
Sedangkan, kasus positif Covid-19 bertambah 1.043 orang sehingga akumulasi pasien positif virus corona di Tanah Air hingga kini sebanyak 33.076 orang.
Adapun, sebanyak 422 kabupaten dan kota yang tersebar di 34 provinsi telah terdampak penyebaran virus corona.

In the inspection, the government applied two methods of specimen inspection.
First, the inspection uses the real time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method. Second, namely using the Molecular Rapid Test (TCM).
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, there have also been an additional 40 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
That way, the total number of deaths as many as up to now reaches 1,923 people.
Then there were also 510 patients recovering from Covid-19 recovering.
In total, patients recovered in the country until now as many as 11,414 people.
Meanwhile, positive cases of Covid-19 increased by 1,043 people so that the accumulation of corona virus positive patients in the country up to now is 33,076 people.
Meanwhile, as many as 422 districts and cities spread across 34 provinces have been affected by the spread of the corona virus.
