Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomenyatakan bahwa masih terjadi penularan virus corona hingga saat ini.
Hal ini menyebabkan jumlah pasien dan kasus Covid-19 masih terus bertambah hingga Jumat (19/6/2020) ini.
Berdasarkan data pemerintah yang masuk hingga Jumat pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.041 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan total ada 43.803 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
Informasi terbaru terkait kasus Covid-19 ini disampaikan Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Jumat sore.
"Kami dapatkan konfirmasi positif sebanyak 1.041 orang, sehingga akumulasinya 43.803 orang," ujar Yurianto.
Data yang sama memperlihatkan bahwa ada penambahan 551 pasien yang sembuh setelah terpapar Covid-19.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, hingga saat ini total ada 17.349pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sembuh.
Namun, masih ada kabar duka dengan masih adanya angka kematian pasien Covid-19.
Ada 34 pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal setelah mereka sempat dinyatakan positif virus corona.

The latest information related to the Covid-19 case was conveyed by Achmad Yurianto at a press conference from Graha BNPB on Friday afternoon.
"We got positive confirmations of 1,041 people, so that the accumulation was 43,803 people," Yurianto said.
The same data shows that there were an additional 551 patients who recovered after exposure to Covid-19.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, to date a total of 17,349 Covid-19 patients have been considered cured.
However, there is still news of grief with the death rate of patients with Covid-19.
There were 34 Covid-19 patients who died after they had tested positive for the corona virus.
