Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto mengatakan, kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia hingga Sabtu (20/6/2020), masih terus bertambah.
Berdasarkan data pemerintah yang masuk hingga Sabtu pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.226 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan total ada 45.029 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
"Kami dapatkan konfirmasi positif sebanyak 1.229 orang, sehingga akumulasinya 45.029 orang," ujar Yurianto dalam konferensi pers di Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Sabtu sore
Adapun penambahan kasus tertinggi ada di provinsi Jawa Timur 395 kasus baru. Berikutnya, DKI Jakarta dengan 180 orang.
Kemudian, Sulawesi Selatan dengan 112 kasus baru, Jawa Tengah dengan 98 kasus baru dan Kalimantan Selatan 83 kasus baru.
Dalam data yang sama, menunjukkan ada penambahan 534 pasien yang sembuh setelah terpapar Covid-19.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, hingga saat ini total ada 17.883 pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sembuh.
Namun, masih ada kabar duka dengan masih adanya angka kematian pasien Covid-19.
Ada 56 pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal setelah mereka sempat dinyatakan positif virus corona.
"Sehingga totalnya ada 2.429 orang," ujar Yurianto

The highest addition of cases is in East Java province with 395 new cases. Next, DKI Jakarta with 180 people.
Then, South Sulawesi with 112 new cases, Central Java with 98 new cases and South Kalimantan 83 new cases.
In the same data, there were 534 patients who recovered after exposure to Covid-19.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, to date a total of 17,883 Covid-19 patients are considered cured.
However, there is still news of grief with the death rate of patients with Covid-19.
There were 56 Covid-19 patients who died after they had tested positive for the corona virus.
