Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomenyatakan, masih terjadi penularan virus corona di masyarakat.
Hal ini menyebabkan kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah hingga hari ini, Rabu (16/6/2020).
Berdasarkan data yang masuk hingga Rabu pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.031 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan kasus itu menyebabkan kini ada 41.431 kasus Covid-19, terhitung sejak Presiden Joko Widodo mengumumkan kasus pertama pada 2 Maret 2020.
Data dan informasi ini disampaikan Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Rabu sore.
"Dari hasil yang kita dapat hari ini, ada penambahan kasus konfirmasi Covid-19 positif sebanyak 1.031 orang," kata Yurianto.
"Sehingga total akumulasi positif sebanyak 41.431 orang." ujar dia.
Penambahan 1.031 kasus baru Covid-19 ini didapatkan setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap 19.757 spesimen dalam sehari.
Sehingga, total ada pemeriksaan terhadap 559.872 spesimen, baik itu melalui real time PCR atau tes cepat molekuler.
Menurut Yurianto, ada lima provinsi yang mencatat penambahan harian tertinggi kasus Covid-19. Jumlah terbanyak di Jawa Timur dengan 225 kasus baru.
Berikutnya, ada DKI Jakarta dengan 127 kasus baru dan Jawa Tengah dengan 115 kasus baru.
Selanjutnya, ada Kalimantan Selatan dengan 86 kasus baru, dan Sulawesi Selatan dengan 84 kasus baru.
Data dalam periode yang sama memperlihatkan bahwa ada penambahan 540 pasien sembuh dari Covid-19.
Mereka telah dinyatakan sembuh setelah hasil pemeriksaan polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, jumlah pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sembuh totalnya ada 16.243 orang.
Akan tetapi, masih ada kabar duka yang disampaikan Yurianto dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Ada 45 pasien yang tutup usia setelah terpapar virus corona dalam periode 16 - 17 Juni 2020.
"Sehingga totalnya ada 2.276," ujar Achmad Yurianto.
Data ODP dan PDP
Pemerintah memastikan kasus Covid-19 sudah tercatat di semua provinsi alias 34 provinsi di Indonesia.
Secara khusus, ada 432 kabupaten/kota yang terdampak Covid-19.
.Jumlah ini bertambah 1 daerah dibandingkan data kemarin.
Selanjutnya, pemerintah juga mencatat jumlah orang yang berstatus orang dalam pemantauan (ODP) dan pasien dalam pengawasan (PDP).
Ada 42.714 orang yang berstatus ODP. Kemudian 13.279 dinyatakan sebagai PDP.

Based on data entered until Wednesday at 12.00 WIB, there were 1,031 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition of these cases has led to 41,431 cases of Covid-19, counted since President Joko Widodo announced the first case on March 2, 2020.
This data and information were delivered by Achmad Yurianto in a press conference from Graha BNPB on Wednesday afternoon.
"From the results we have today, there are 1,031 positive cases of positive Covid-19 confirmations," Yurianto said.
"So that the total positive accumulation was 41,431 people." he said.
The addition of 1,031 new cases of Covid-19 was obtained after examination of 19,757 specimens in a day.
Thus, a total of 559,872 specimens were examined, both through real time PCR or molecular rapid tests.
According to Yurianto, there were five provinces that recorded the highest daily addition of the Covid-19 case. The highest number is in East Java with 225 new cases.
Next, there are DKI Jakarta with 127 new cases and Central Java with 115 new cases.
Furthermore, there are South Kalimantan with 86 new cases, and South Sulawesi with 84 new cases.
Data in the same period showed that an additional 540 patients recovered from Covid-19.
They were declared cured after the results of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) examination revealed negative corona virus results.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients considered to be cured was 16,243.
However, there is still sad news delivered by Yurianto with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
There were 45 patients who died after exposure to the corona virus in the period 16-17 June 2020.
"So the total is 2,276," Achmad Yurianto said.
ODP and PDP data
The government confirmed that the Covid-19 case was recorded in all provinces, aka 34 provinces in Indonesia.
Specifically, there are 432 districts / cities affected by Covid-19.
This number increased by 1 region compared to yesterday's data.
Furthermore, the government also records the number of people in monitoring (ODP) and patients under surveillance (PDP).
There are 42,714 people with ODP status. Then 13,279 were declared as PDP.
