Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Virus Corona Achmad Yurianto mengatakan, hingga Kamis (4/6/2020), ada 1.721 pasien yang meninggal dunia setelah tertular Covid-19.
Data ini diperoleh setelah pemerintah memastikan ada penambahan 23 pasien tutup usia.
"Jumlah pasien yang meninggal dunia bertambah 23 sehingga total pasien meninggal dunia sebanyak 1.721 orang," ujar Yuri dalam konferensi pers di Graha BNPB, Kamis sore.
Selain perkembangan jumlah pasien meninggal dunia, Yuri menyampaikan adanya penambahan kasus baru pasien positif Covid-19 hingga 4 Juni 2020.
Menurut Yuri, berdasarkan data yang dihimpun pemerintah hingga pukul 12.00 WIB, Kamis, ada penambahan 585 kasus baru Covid-19.
"Sehingga secara akumulatif ada 28.818 kasus kasus positif Covid-19 (di Indonesia) sampai saat ini, " kata Yuri.
Sementara itu, secara total penularan Covid-19 hingga saat ini terjadi 418 kabupaten/kota yang berada di 34 provinsi.
Selain itu, Yuri menyampaikan ada tambahan pasien yang dinyatakan telah sembuh dari Covid-19.
"Ada penambahan jumlah pasien sembuh sebanyak 486 orang sehingga secara akumulatif ada 8.892 pasien yang sembuh dari Covid-19 sampai saat ini," kata Yuri.

Adapun satu orang bisa diperiksa spesimennya lebih dari satu kali.
"Hari ini kami telah menyelesaikan pemeriksaan spesimen sebanyak 13.206 sehingga totalnya menjadi 367.640 spesimen," Hal itu dikatakan Yuri dalam konferensi persnya di Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Kamis (4/6/2020).
Pemeriksaan tersebut dilakukan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) ataupun tes cepat molekuler (TCM).
Dari pemeriksaan tersebut sebanyak 28.818 orang dinyatakan positif dan 222.918 orang dinyatakan negatif Covid-19.
Sedangkan jumlah pasien sembuh dari Covid-19 kini berjumlah 8.892. Angka itu merupakan akumulasi tambahan kasus sembuh sebanyak 486 orang selama 24 jam terakhir.
Pasien dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali dinyatakan negatif dalam pemeriksaan laboratorium polymerase chain reaction (PCR) sehingga total 8.892 orang sembuh dari Covid-19.
Kendati demikian, Yurianto mengatakan, masih terjadi penambahan jumlah pasien meninggal sebanyak 23 orang.
Total kasus meninggal dunia akibat Covid-19 kini berjumlah 1.721 orang.

Government Spokesperson for Corona Virus Handling Achmad Yurianto said, until Thursday (06/04/2020), there were 1,721 patients who died after contracting Covid-19.
This data was obtained after the government confirmed that there were an additional 23 patients who died.
"The number of patients who died increased by 23 so that the total number of patients died was 1,721," Yuri said at a press conference at Graha BNPB, Thursday afternoon.
In addition to the development of the number of patients dying, Yuri said that there were additional new cases of positive patients from Covid-19 to 4 June 2020.
According to Yuri, based on data compiled by the government until 12.00 WIB on Thursday, there were an additional 585 new cases of Covid-19.
"So accumulatively there have been 28,818 positive cases of Covid-19 (in Indonesia) to date," Yuri said.
Meanwhile, in total Covid-19 transmission to date there have been 418 districts / cities in 34 provinces.
In addition, Yuri said there were additional patients who were declared to have recovered from Covid-19.
"There is an increase in the number of cured patients as many as 486 people so that accumulatively there are 8,892 patients who have recovered from Covid-19 to date," Yuri said.

One specimen can be examined more than once.
"Today we have completed 13,206 specimen examinations, bringing the total to 367,640 specimens," Yuri said in a press conference at Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Thursday (6/4/2020).
The examination is carried out using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method or molecular rapid test (TCM).
From the examination as many as 28,818 people tested positive and 222,918 people stated negative Covid-19.
While the number of patients recovering from Covid-19 now amounts to 8,892. That figure is an accumulation of additional 486 cases of cured cases over the past 24 hours.
The patient was declared cured after twice being negative in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory examination so that a total of 8,892 people recovered from Covid-19.
Nevertheless, Yurianto said, there were still an increase in the number of patients killed by 23 people.
The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 now amounts to 1,721.
