Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomenyatakan bahwa penularan virus corona masih terjadi di masyarakat.
Penularan yang masih terjadi menyebabkan kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah hingga hari ini, Minggu (28/6/2020).
Berdasarkan data yang masuk hingga Minggu pukul 12.00 WIB, terdapat 1.198 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan total ada 54.010 kasus Covid-19 di Tanah Air, terhitung sejak pasien pertama terinfeksi virus corona diumumkan pada 2 Maret 2020.
Informasi terbaru ini disampaikan Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Minggu sore.
"Hasil pemeriksaan hari ini, positif (virus corona) meningkat sebanyak 1.108 sehingga totalnya menjadi 54.010," ujar Yurianto.
Selain itu, Yurianto juga mengungkapkan ada penambahan 1.027 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, secara akumulasi ada 22.936 pasien Covid-19 yang kini sudah dianggap sembuh.
Akan tetapi, Yurianto masih menyampaikan kabar duka dengan adanya pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia dalam periode 27 - 28 Juni 2020.
Ada penambahan 34 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia dalam sehari.
"Sehingga totalnya menjad 2.754," kata Achmad Yurianto.

This latest information was delivered by Yurianto in a press conference from Graha BNPB on Sunday afternoon.
"Examination results today, positive (corona virus) increased by 1,108 so that the total is 54,010," Yurianto said.
In addition, Yurianto also revealed that there were 1,027 additional Covid-19 patients recovering.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, accumulated there were 22,936 Covid-19 patients who are now considered cured.
However, Yurianto is still delivering sad news with the presence of Covid-19 patients who died in the period 27-28 June 2020.
There were 34 additional Covid-19 patients who died a day.
