Pemerintah kembali memperbarui data dan informasi terkait Covid-19, dan memperlihatkan bahwa penularan virus corona masih terjadi hingga saat ini.
Penularan virus itu menyebabkan angka kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah hingga hari ini, Jumat (26/6/2020).
Berdasarkan data pemerintah yang masuk hingga Jumat pukul 12.00 WIB, diketahui ada 1.240 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan total ada 51.427 kasus Covid-19 di Tanah Air, yang terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2 Maret 2020.
Data dan informasi ini disampaikan Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Virus Corona Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Jumat sore.
"Didapatkan hasil konfirmasi positif sebanyak 1.240, sehingga totalnya menjadi 51.427 orang," ujar Yurianto.
Data dalam periode yang sama juga memperlihatkan bahwa ada penambahan 884 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, total pasien sembuh setelah terinfeksi virus corona ada 21.333 orang.
Akan tetapi, Yurianto juga menyampaikan kabar duka dengan masih adanya pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Ada 63 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia dalam periode 25 - 26 Juni 2020.
"Sehingga totalnya menjadi 2.683," ujar Achmad Yurianto.

Transmission of the virus has caused the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to continue to grow today, Friday (6/26/2020).
Based on government data that entered until Friday at 12.00 West Indonesian Time, there were 1,240 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition caused a total of 51,427 cases of Covid-19 in the country, which counted since the first case was announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2, 2020.
This data and information were delivered by Government Spokesperson for Corona Virus Achmad Yurianto during a press conference from Graha BNPB on Friday afternoon.
"1,240 positive people received positive results, bringing the total to 51,427 people," Yurianto said.
Data in the same period also showed that an additional 884 Covid-19 patients recovered.
They were declared cured after examination with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showing negative corona virus results.
Thus, the total number of patients recovered after being infected with the corona virus was 21,333 people.
However, Yurianto also conveyed the sad news that there were still Covid-19 patients who had died.
There were 63 Covid-19 patients who died in the period 25-26 June 2020.
"So the total will be 2,683," Achmad Yurianto said.
