Juru Bicara Pemerintah untuk Penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomenyatakan bahwa Indonesia masih menghadapi penularan virus corona hingga saat ini.
Penularan itu bahkan menyebabkan kasus Covid-19di Indonesia kini melewati angka 50.000 pasien, sejak pencatatan virus corona di Tanah Air.
Berdasarkan data pemerintah yang masuk hingga Kamis (25/6/2020) pukul 12.00 WIB, saat ini tercatat ada 50.187 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan pada 2 Maret 2020.
Jumlah tersebut disebabkan adanya penambahan 1.178 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir
Informasi terbaru tentang Covid-19 ini disampaikan Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB di Jakarta pada Kamis sore.
"Dari pemeriksaan hari ini, kasus positif 1.178, sehingga totalnya adalah 50.187," ujar Yurianto.
Dalam periode yang sama, diketahui ada penambahan 791 pasien Covid-19 yang sembuh
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, hingga saat ini diketahui ada 20.449 pasien Covid-19 di Indonesia yang sembuh.
Selain itu, masih ada kabar duka yang disampaikan Yurianto dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Dalam periode 24 -25 Juni 2020, diketahui ada 47 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia dari seluruh lokasi perawatan di Indonesia.
"Sehingga jumlah totalnya menjadi 2.620," ujar Achmad Yurianto.

Government Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomen stated that Indonesia was still facing transmission of the corona virus to date.
The transmission has even caused the Covid-19 case in Indonesia to now exceed 50,000 patients, since the corona virus was recorded in the country.
Based on government data entering until Thursday (6/25/2020) at 12.00 WIB, there are currently 50,187 Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, starting from the first case announced on March 2, 2020.
The number is due to the addition of 1,178 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours
The latest information about Covid-19 was conveyed by Achmad Yurianto at a press conference from Graha BNPB in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon.
"From the examination today, there are 1,178 positive cases, so the total is 50,187," Yurianto said.
In the same period, there were an additional 791 recovered Covid-19 patients
They were declared cured after examination with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showing negative corona virus results.
Thus, up to now there are 20,449 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia recovering.
In addition, there is still sad news delivered by Yurianto with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
In the 24-25 June 2020 period, 47 Covid-19 patients died in all care locations in Indonesia.
"So that the total number will be 2,620," Achmad Yurianto said.
