Juru bicara pemerintah untuk penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yuriantomenyatakan
bahwa hingga saat masih terjadi penularan virus corona di masyarakat.
Hal ini menyebabkan penambahan kasus Covid-19masih terjadi. Berdasarkan data hingga Senin (15/6/2020) pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.017 kasus baru dalam 24 jam.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan kini ada 39.294 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan pada 2 Maret 2020.
Informasi ini disampaikan Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Senin sore.
"Kami dapatkan kasus Covid-19 terkonfirmasi positif adalah 1.017 orang, sehingga totalnya menjadi 39.294 orang" ujar Achmad Yurianto.
Adapun, 1.017 kasus baru itu tersebar dari 23 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia.
"Ada lima provinsi yang angka laporannya cukup tinggi," ujar Yurianto.
Dia memaparkan, penambahan tertinggi ada di Jawa Timur dengan 270 kasus baru Covid-19.
Kemudian diikuti DKI Jakarta dengan 142 kasus baru, Jawa Tengah dengan 116 kasus baru, Sulawesi Selatan dengan 101 kasus baru, dan Kalimantan Selatan dengan 66 kasus baru.
Data yang sama juga memperlihatkan ada penambahan 592 pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan dengan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, ada 15.123 pasien yang sembuh setelah sebelumnya dinyatakan mengidap Covid-19
Namun, masih ada kabar duka dengan adanya penambahan pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Dalam periode 14 - 15 Juni 2020, ada penambahan 64 pasien Covid-19 yang tutup usia.
"Sehingga totalnya menjadi 2.198 orang," ucap Yurianto.

He explained, the highest addition was in East Java with 270 new cases of Covid-19.
Then followed by DKI Jakarta with 142 new cases, Central Java with 116 new cases, South Sulawesi with 101 new cases, and South Kalimantan with 66 new cases.
The same data also shows that there were an additional 592 Covid-19 patients who were considered cured.
They were declared cured after two tests using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.

However, there is still sad news with the addition of Covid-19 patients who died.
In the period 14 - 15 June 2020, there were 64 additional Covid-19 patients who died.
