Juru bicara pemerintah soal penanganan Corona, Achmad Yurianto, meng-update penambahan kasus positif Corona menjadi

Lanjut lagi, Achmad Yurianto menambahkan ada total 12.129 pasien sudah sembuh dan total 1.959 pasien meninggal dunia.
Yurianto juga meng-update total jumlah Pasien Dalam Pengawasan (PDP) ada 14.242 dan ada total 43.945 Orang Dalam Pemantauan (ODP).
Tim Komunikasi Gugus Tugas Penanganan Virus Corona, dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro melaporkan bahwa pengujian sampel sudah dilaksanakan secara besar-besaran untuk menekan jumlah kasus positif Corona, la mengumumkan sebanyak 20.000 spesimen yang akan dites per harinya.
Selain itu, Reisa juga menekankan masyarakat untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat dengan membiasakan diri untuk rajin cuci tangan menggunakan sabun di air mengalir selama 20 detik dan hindari memegang area wajah seperti hidung, mulut, dan mata. la juga mengajak masyarakat untuk bisa beradaptasi dengan situasi baru dengan tetap memerhatikan protokol kesehatan.
la kembali mengingatkan agar masyarakat meningkatkan kedisiplinan untuk tetap berada di rumah, gunakan masker jika terpaksa pergi keluar rumah. Meskipun sudah menggunakan masker, masyarakat tetap diminta untuk tetap menjaga jarak fisik minimal 1 meter agar tetap aman saat beraktivitas.
Sementara itu, Yurianto melaporkan bahwa penambahan tertinggi terdapat di 5 provinsi, yakni di Jawa Timur, Sulawesi Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, dan Kalimantan Selatan. Yurianto kembali menegaskan agar masyarakat disiplin
mematuhi aturan dari pemerintah untuk mengikuti protokol kesehatan demi mengurangi penyebaran virus Corona yang masih terus bertambah setiap harinya
