Pemerintah menyatakan bahwa masih terjadi penularan virus corona di masyarakat hingga hari ini. Hal ini menyebabkan kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah.
Berdasarkan data yang masuk hingga Sabtu (13/6/2020) pukul 12.00 WIB, ada 1.014 kasus baru Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Penambahan itu menyebabkan kini ada 37.420 kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia, terhitung sejak kasus pertama diumumkan pada 2 Maret 2020.
Data dan informasi ini diungkapkan juru bicara pemerintah untuk penanganan virus corona Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers dari Graha BNPB pada Sabtu sore.
"Dari kasus yang kami dapatkan untuk konfirmasi positif Covid-19 hari ini sebanyak 1.014 orang, sehingga total menjadi 37.420 orang," ujar Yurianto
Yurianto memaparkan, setidaknya ada lima provinsi yang mencatat penambahan kasus Covid-19 dala jumlah tinggi.
Provinsi itu adalah Jawa Timur dengan 176 kasus baru, Sulawesi Selatan dengan 125 kasus baru, dan Kalimantan Selatan dengan 123 kasus baru.
Berikutnya ada DKI Jakarta dengan 121 kasus baru dan Sumatera Utara dengan 94 kasus baru.
Data yang sama memperlihatkan bahwa ada penambahan 563 pasien Covid-19 yang dianggap sudah sembuh.
Mereka dinyatakan sembuh setelah dua kali pemeriksaan berdasarkan metode polymerase chain reaction (PCR) memperlihatkan hasil negatif virus corona.
Dengan demikian, sampai saat ini ada 13.776 pasien Covid-19 di Indonesia yang dinyatakan sembuh.
Namun, masih ada kabar duka yang disampaikan Yurianto dengan adanya penambahan 43 pasien Covid-19 yang meninggal dunia.
Total, ada 2.091 pasien Covid-19 di Indonesia yang meninggal dunia, setelah mereka dinyatakan terinfeksi virus corona.
"Sekitar 5,78 persen kalau kita lihat angka kematiannya," ucap Yurianto.

Yurianto explained, there were at least five provinces which recorded the addition of Covid-19 cases in high numbers.
The province is East Java with 176 new cases, South Sulawesi with 125 new cases, and South Kalimantan with 123 new cases.
Next there are DKI Jakarta with 121 new cases and North Sumatra with 94 new cases.
The same data shows that there were an additional 563 Covid-19 patients who were considered cured.
They were declared cured after two tests based on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method showed negative corona virus results.
Thus, to date there are 13,776 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia who have been declared cured.
However, there is still sad news delivered by Yurianto with the addition of 43 Covid-19 patients who died.
In total, there were 2,091 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia who died, after they were declared infected with the corona virus.
